Using a centuries old process developed in Eastern Europe, this Double Decker Bus is magnificently reproduced as a glass Christmas ornament.
Each London Christmas ornament is constructed of molten glass hand-blown into a mold. Once the glass is shaped, it is then silvered. Silvering helps to create a reflective property and depth of color in the ornament. After the British ornaments are dry, they are then decorated. Each of these Landmark Creations ornaments is hand-painted. The painting process can take up to one week for a single Bus ornament. As they are individually hand-painted, you are guaranteed to receive a unique ornament, since no two will look exactly the same.

There is no better way to "learn" London than to explore by foot. Sometimes, though, this just is not possible. The buses are inexpensive, go absolutely everywhere, and provide a great opportunity to observe British personalities and customs alike. With 17,000 bus stops all over the city, riders are sure to find one convenient to their favorite pub. Try taking the bus to 145 Fleet Street to visit one of London's most famous pubs, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. Aside from being truly "olde" (circa 1667), this pub was once home to a notorious, ill-mouthed parrot, whose death in 1926 elicited an obituary by the BBC!
